Kellie Martin is the American actor and director of films, is best known as Christy Huddleston in the period drama 'Christy", Rebecca Thatcher on the family drama Life Goes On> and Lucy Knight for the medical drama ER. Other notable roles include her title character in The Hailey Dean Mystery series. Martin's acting career began when she was just seven when her aunt, an ex-nanny who looked after her children Michael Landon, helped secure the role of a guest in 1982's 'Father Murphy.' After graduating of Yale University, she took acting more seriously, and eventually landed substantial roles, both on the small screen and the large screen. Martin, who is an actor as well as an accomplished photographer and dancer, has been in the business for over twenty years. A mother of two, she's the official spokesperson for Lupus and has been raising awareness about the condition since her sister died from it at around 19 years old.
